WHY AN IBCLC?
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is the highest level of lactation certifications. It requires 90 hours of lactation specific continuing education courses, 15 hours of college courses like biology, nutrition & anatomy as well as 1000 hours of hands on experience before one can sit for the 3 hour exam.
