Meet Your Lactation Consultants
Rebekah Scroggy, RN, BSN, IBCLC

Rebekah has been a Registered Nurse since January 2018 and began her career as a pediatric emergency room nurse in a Level 1 trauma center. This early experience gave her a strong clinical foundation in caring for infants and children during critical moments.
After the birth of her son in 2019, Rebekah became the first person in her family to exclusively breastfeed. That experience sparked a deep personal passion for breastfeeding and supporting other families as they navigate their own feeding journeys.
Since 2020, Rebekah has gained a wide range of experience supporting families through virtual peer support, community health programs, and her work with WIC. She has also worked within the hospital system as a lactation nurse, providing hands-on care and education to new mothers during the postpartum period.
Her passion for helping parents feel confident, informed, and supported led her to pursue and obtain her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification. Rebekah is especially passionate about supporting families through challenges related to oral ties and pumping, drawing from both her professional training and personal experience.
In addition, Rebekah is certified as a neurodiverse lactation provider and has completed the Guiding Bottle Breakthroughs course, equipping her to support families working through bottle refusal and feeding transitions.
Rebekah provides in-home lactation visits throughout the Louisville, Kentucky area and offers virtual consultations to families worldwide.
Natalie Lytle, RN, BSN, IBCLC

Natalie Lytle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisville and became a Registered Nurse in 2018. She has worked in pediatrics and postpartum care, where she developed a strong passion for supporting mothers and babies during the early days after birth.
In 2025, Natalie became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, expanding her ability to provide specialized, evidence-based lactation care.
Her work is shaped not only by her clinical experience, but also by her personal journey as a mother. While breastfeeding her first child, she experienced firsthand how valuable early lactation support can be. The encouragement she received during that time continues to influence her compassionate and practical approach with families today.
Natalie has provided lactation education and hands-on support to new mothers in a hospital postpartum setting, assisting with latch challenges, milk supply concerns, and early feeding plans. She strives to meet each family with patience, encouragement, and individualized care.
She is currently expecting her second child, which allows her to closely relate to the evolving needs, questions, and emotions that many parents experience throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
Natalie is currently accepting both in-home and virtual lactation clients in the Louisville, Kentucky area.
How In-Home Lactation Visits Work
In-home visits allow us to observe feeding sessions in real time, assess latch and positioning, review pumping setups and flange fit, and create a personalized feeding plan based on your goals.
This hands-on approach provides immediate, practical guidance that fits your home setup and daily routine.
Why Families Choose The Better Boob
Our team of IBCLCs and Registered Nurses brings clinical experience in postpartum and NICU care, evidence-based feeding support, and a deep understanding of real-life breastfeeding challenges.
We support families through latching issues, low milk supply, pumping and bottle feeding, returning to work, and weaning and transitions.
Why In-Home Support Makes a Difference
In-home care provides the ability to troubleshoot challenges in real time, reduces stress by eliminating the need to travel with a newborn, and allows for a more personalized and thorough consultation.
This level of care helps families build confidence and feel supported during a critical time.
